| Brief Details: | RSC Northern showcase for best practice in e-learning event: sponsored by LLUK. |
| Information: | Featured during the day will be Keynote Speakers, one of which is Professor Sugata Mitra from Newcastle University, who was the instigator of the Hole in the Wall (HIW) experiment, where in the year 1999 a computer was placed in a kiosk created within a wall in an Indian slum at Kalkaji, Delhi and children were allowed to freely use it, along with a number of 'best practice presentations' from this region. Our second Keynote is John Davitt who champions a pragmatic and realistic view of the new technology revolution as well as many other areas of specialism. We have organised a selection of workshops both morning and afternoon which feature some of the award winners as well as others making a difference with technology. PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the programme detailed below there is a PDF of the Presentations going on throughout the day. Have a look through them at your leisure and then you can SIGN UP FOR THEM DURING REGISTRATION ON MONDAY. Please note RSC Northern will charge for non-attendance. |
